Today Bea and I presented our three ideas to class.  They chose our third idea which is called Match Cut.   Next week on October 4th we plan to shoot in the green screen with tennis objects, clothes, equipment, etc.  To demonstrate Florida we might use oranges, a drink with orange juice, possibly beach attire.  We might also get Broll footage of the campus as well in order to help enhance our ad to promote the college students to want to come to it in January.  Our promo will start off with a circular object and will do quick cuts between scenes.  Bea and I are looking forward to filming next class!

October 4th, 2017 I was given my first script exercise where I was assigned a footage and I had to create my own script out of it.  I focused on animal conservation and researched facts about certain animals I chose.  It was challenging to learn certain terms about script writing and decide on the amount of information I would like to share about it. When I completed it, it was definitely a relief to be done.  The script writing was more challenging than I thought.  Although, now I look back I am glad I have a better understanding of it. October 11, 2017 What Production was like for me...I love production in general because there are many things to learn each day and within each project.  I usually comprehend something new I never imaged I would and I am entertained by the whole aspect of it.  I enjoy working with multiple people and understanding more personality types. For this particular shoot, USTA Promo I learned more about wearing multiple hats in a small environmental shoot.  I loved having students participate in my shoot and I enjoyed being involved in others.  I gathered from this shoot on how important it is to be flexible and willing to join in on an opportunity to help someone succeed in their project as well as for them to be in yours.  I like the idea of collaboration and working with others. November 22, 2017 I have completed my sound byte script and will continue go through the footage of interviewing Mel and the behind the scenes footage to incorporate. I am excited to see how it turns out! Here is a sneak peak on how the project it is coming so far and screen shots of the scripts.
